The fact that you don't understand it does not make it crap. Nor does the fact that when you tried it at school, you were crap at it. Cricket is a game that requires patience, wit, courage, and grace. And you don't like it. Okay then.
That’s what baseball fans say. I feel that both “sports” if invented today, and not historically and culturally ingrained in their fanbases, society today would not have the patience for either to catch on.
I don’t disagree. I will say all are fun to play, not so great as spectator sports. These are all more games than they are sports.

Then you've completely missed the point about watching sports. It should be entertaining. Would you watch a boring film or tv series? Would you listen to elevator music?
The Ashes embodies one of sport's greatest historic rivalries Matth. So quite a lot of people get up at 4.00am to watch it (not me though, I haven't got sky. Think the next series might be on BT Sport?)
We should just ban all boring sports so darts, snooker, cricket, naked fat fijian womens netball and cycling.
