You couldn't be more wrong, being of a slightly art deco style building it makes a change from the monstrosities that are built these days. Modernised yes, in a sympathetic way, as Hull has lost too many of the older type buildings than it should have. The old Co-op (BHS), is no great loss as architectually its systematic of the era in design, K2 (Kingston House) is also of the ilk but is being modernised, I await to see the finished product. Some old buildings are, I agree, are beyond redemtpion, Hammonds (H of F) is not one of them.
I see. Theres hardly any shops left from the 70s and Eighties now. Used to be some decent sized department stores
Strewth and stone the crows just had a butcher' s and that' s some ridiculous overpriced clothing. You'd have to be pretty pretentious to pay that much cash
My brother used to man the lifts at Hammonds as a summer job back in the 70s. Glamour job that..., I think he only did it to perv at the girls in the perfume department.
It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't look like chav gear. You'd have to be a bit of a **** to think that was worth buying.
What? You don’t want to pay £695 for a nylon poncho? ...cheap bugger https://store.moncler.com/en-gb/rai...921632.html#dept=EU_View_All_Outerwear_Men_SS
