Everton will surely be the more attractive proposition. Wealth of midfield creators, just depends who they get in as manager
Embarrassing that I'd forgot that. Plays infinitely better football than Allardyce, so it's a non-starter if they're in. This league's going to be worrying this season, see Arsenal have already managed to figure out where Wenger was going wrong and have bought a defence...
Heaven forbid they actually did some real journalism themselves rather than regurgitating ****e from the Daily Mail!! Is the Sunday Sport still on the go?? .......................... perhaps they could rehash some Gert Bucket stories from there ................... The Dream Team Trio of Bucket, Ashley and Penfold, all fat ****ers snouting at the NUFC trough.
No way will happen but tbf if I was Jose I'd rather Rashford came and worked with Rafa for his development. We are a bit short of quality but a couple of really good editions and we have the beating of Everton.
But the 34 yo is our equivelent of Jesus. Poppapapapapappopopop alisio is a good player but not a top 6 player?
I wouldn't compare Lichtensteiner to Jesus Gamez, swear he only had one working leg! Dortmund's first choice CB is generally a top 6 player and I rate Sokratis as such. Plus, my opinion holds more weight than anybody's
It would be fantastic but sadly I don’t think it will be an option. He will be at Man U. Jose would be stupid to loan him out. Mind I thought he was stupid not to make use of him last year.
I think that's a slight myth peddled by the anti-Mourinho brigade. He didn't start in as many as he'd have liked but he played in 35 of their 38 Premiership games last year, I wonder how many of the England team bettered that for their clubs?
I don't think its a myth at all. He would have been very unhappy with his game time and the number of starts he got. He only started 26 games across all competitions. 9 of those were in the cups. I think the biggest thing of all though is he only started 6 games as a striker through the middle in any competition - which is what he sees himself as. However he has taken it all very professionally and perhaps the experience he'll take from it can help him in the future. Its the nature of the big sides. You don't spend 75-90m on Lukaku and then say "you know what, enjoy the bench mate". Mourinho clearly doesn't think Rashford was ready to lead the line. He is only 20 so you can understand he didn't want t ask too much of him. I just think in Lukaku's quiet spells which proved quite costly, Mourinho could have used Rashford.
