There is a bit of a theme with the Adams signings with the injury list they bring. It's a bit like one of those movies where the inmates take on the outmates and give them a kicking. Must admit though it has worked so far.

Glad to see the Bradley will he or won't he saga has gone to conclusion. I'm not that bothered he has chosen to go. Having read some of the comment on pasoti I find myself in some agreement with those who think Adams has perhaps come to the conclusion he has just about passed his sell by date. Whilst I think he is a genuine type I also do think he was found out a few times by nippy forwards in league one. The difference in this league to the last is noticeable in standard.

Also I'm thinking about character. There was a recent piece emanating from the Chief Scout stressing what a big factor this was in player recruitment. Brent has talked about it, Adams insists on it and the point was made that all the travelling would be impossible if the players didn't get on.

Bradley was one of the players hinted as being involved in dressing room strife back at the start of the season when we did so badly. That may well have been total rubbish but was he given an offer he couldn't accept? So much easier than handling the fall out from releasing him without being able to say why.

I'm with Sensible. I'm disappointed in him as much as anything, kissing the badge one minute and gone for a few quid more the next, but essentially he's a big lad that can head the ball and kick it a long way in a generally downfield direction. There are a lot of them about.

I'd be a lot more concerned if we lost Carey or Ryan Taylor - or David Fox, who hasn't re-signed yet.

Sonny Bradley has gone....disappointing maybe....but hey ho life goes on....I'm sure Derek Adams can find someone to replace him....maybe he has already pencilled in Niall Canavan for that purpose, who knows.
Bradley was strong in the air and also a leader on the pitch...the only thing I didn't like about him was the way he has abused his body with too many tattoo's....but that is neither here or there.
What has been said about him was his lack of pace, which is evident against speedy players such as Lyle Taylor of Wimbledon......wouldn't say no to him coming to Home Park, but we couldn't afford a fee for him....and I don't think he is injury prone so that rules him out.
If we can have two Grants why not two Taylors ?

If he was ex-military....we might lose him every time Harry holds his Invictus Games....maybe not a good idea......

Ladapo was reportedly in Plymouth last week. I didn't mention it as you can only monger so many rumours in one week.

It is interesting to read how Derek Adams has been drawn to Niall Canavan and Freddie Ladapo....he has been following both for awhile and both players were aware of Adams interest in them....you get the feeling that Adams feels he can get something extra out of both these players....he has done it with others and he can do it again I'm sure.
We also know that Conor Grant has been on Adams radar for awhile as well....accept for a technical oversight Grant would have been on loan from Everton during the January window.....Adams cannot be faulted for not persevering with players and now Grant is a Pilgrim full time.

4 doesn't make a crowd notDistant....and there is possibly two more we haven't officially been told about yet....one of Bradley's replacements would require a fee...now if that happens things would really be looking up.

Just checking the calendar, it's 10 June. It's well ahead of where we've been previously I think.

I think last year Adams might of been knocked back a bit with failing to get his first choices....this year it seems his budget might be better to get his preferred targets....that's how I see it.....maybe I'm wrong.

Hi Matster.....If Derek Adams signs a player then so be it....he is well versed in knowing what he wants.....he tracks players a long time and keeps checking what is going on with them....so in Derek we trust...he sees into situations and quite often revives players careers....ok now and again that player doesn't live up to expectations....but not often is he wrong.
