I can't believe agents take their holidays when the transfer window is open, that's their busiest time.

Not sure I’ll ask! He just said the club paid 20k bond and he’s holding on to it!

It will probably been lodged with the tenants protection scheme, so, as long as your friend can prove to TPS of the damage etc, then they will only pay the club back what is left after the repairs have been done.

    Haha.

I wanted out, I got out, on very favourable terms. She got bollocked, told to calm down, think before she speaks & a bad flair up of her acne.

I can’t understand why people who don’t, won’t or can’t stand up for hemselves are not in a trade union. The scales always look better balanced when you have others stood beside you.

I employ 6 women and they soon let me know when they’re not happy with me! The first sign is when I walk in and say good morning and there’s no reply! <laugh>

That's because he doesn't really know **** all and just makes sweeping statements that he can call correct.

How the **** do you cause 20 k worth of damage....never understand footballers that rent....a months or 2 wages would actually buy you a house outright.

Aye it's what I'd do. Buy a house everywhere I played and keep it when I moved.

Pretty much a guaranteed income for the rest of your life.

How much do houses in the UK cost? In Aus even on 15-20k a week you'd still be needing to put basically all your salary for two years into a house.

You can get a decent house for £160k, but for a nice house in some of the areas that footballers want to live I’d expect north of £300k.
I’m sure someone from that area could fill you in with better details.
But 15-20k a week will be before tax I would have thought, same with any signing on fee.
It’s easier to rent for footballers too as they don’t have all the hassle of selling after.
I’m sure a lot of them will have invested in property at some point & may be renting it out. But footballers houses aren’t going to be easy to rent when you look at the prices they are said to have paid!

A house in Aus costs AUS$3m? I knew things there were rough but I didn't realise they were that rough.
