Reading the timeline he passed his medical then you asked/paid for a "second opinion" to get the price down. The world knew he a knee injury way before this started.
I've posted a few times that this one just didn't sit right with me, there's a lot we don't know but I'm glad this hasn't happened.
I don’t think it is unfair Vvd was a farce- never would have happened with other clubs Keita was pretty shambolic too - no problem with the deals but they way it was played out was not good. Coutihnio dealings was not good either. There have been others but I don’t want to get at the club cause the outcomes have been great. Tbf I loved the way fabihno was brought in. You could be right about me being harsh on the club in so far as it may not be their fault that all goes public but I just can’t help but feel we are the ones putting stuff out there as it not really prevalent in many other teams.
Hmm, something is not right here However, Lyon said on Saturday that talks about the potential transfer of their captain "had not succeeded". Fekir, 24, had been one of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp's prime summer targets. "Although Liverpool has been the priority of a possible transfer of Nabil... Olympique Lyonnais is delighted to be able to count on the presence of their captain in 2018-2019," Lyon said in a statement. Liverpool did not attempt, suggest or offer to renegotiate any terms for Fekir. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44425961
The reality is everyone's sucking Edwards off when the only transfer he did real good was Fabinho. The rest were sagas. Like corrie or eastenders. But I'm a football fan so fickle as they come. Sign a GK and he's a legend again.
He was born in Southampton funnily enough. First job in football (non playing) though was at the Skates with 'Arry. The **** him.
I refer you to my post at 12:39 (There we’re actually two **** ups but couldn’t be arsed to correct them) lmao I supposed to sorting a triathlon out in the morning at 7:30 and still on way back from gig in Birmingham, luckily mate is driving
So according to Lyon: 1) the medical was passed 2) LFC did not try to renotiate a deal So, if true, either (a) we never reached agreement on price and Lyon played hardball or (b) someone else became available (this has happened before) I note that Gotze has thrown his hat into the ring
It’s all guesswork tbh but if we’ve pushed for m early sale, then his position was always going to be to hold firm on valuation. Weird.
Yep, two scenarios for me: 1) fee and personal terms agreed. Medical threw up some complications and we tried to restructure the deal 2) LFC were happy with existing terms but Aulas delayed it because he wants to do it after WC. IMO and according to a few ‘reputable’ sources via Twitter, it was Aulas who tried to renegotiate terms which of course delayed the transfer. In either scenario, I don’t think either club backed out of the negotiations completely. I think the deal will still happen.
