I don’t get why the UA badge has red round it and the saints badge doesn’t, sends my OCD crazy!! Who ever designed it should be shot!

This is the site. Thanks for posting the link.

I had a load of replica football shirts that I bought from a company called TOPS. I don't think the company exists anymore. I had the Saints red and white quarters kit and the 1960;s stripes as well as the Wanderers cup winning kit of 1872 which was a particular favourite!

The sash was sown on as you state but I have never heard the story of the captain's sash going in the opposite direction. Duncan Holley's "Suited and booted" book has a phot from 1888 where the players are all wearing sashes in different directions. The sash is not sown on to the shirts by the looks of things.

It gets worse and worse the more I see it. Think I prefer that ‘bra’ one we had with Puel and that was ****. May be one for the honest opinions thread but I think all our under armour kits apart from last season’s home kit have been crap.

I have that red and white quarters shirt. Didn’t we wear it for that last game at The Dell against Brighton?

That looks like a knockoff 'fake' version of a saints shirt that you'd get in a market somewhere in Thailand. <yikes><yikes>

Buuuuuttttt...I'm sure I'll grow to like it when we do the double in it.

Yeah the home kit looks odd with the bit around the Under Armour logo but the away kit looks lush!!!

Maybe the new Chinese owners have agreed a terrible home kit so we move to a red one like the 3rd kit which is definitely better than the 1st kit?

I'll most likely buy a yellow one anyway but that is absolutely stunning! Think DTLW said it was minimal blue though so might not be genuine.

Where you lift it from out of interest?

On Twitter my friend, seemed genuine to me, they had the awful home one on there too, seems legit to me, I would say that it is minimal blue so still fits with what DTLW said.

I think if you all like it, my post should at least get a few likes to confirm you like it! :1980_boogie_down:#fishingforlikes

I'll ask about the above on Monday. I haven't actually seen the kits myself so was very much going off my recollection of a conversation.

Doesn't look like *too* much blue. The back will presumably be yellow with the blue stripe, akin to the red/black of the home shirt.

All we need to do now is get to the FA Cup final and draw the away end again!

The away kit looks terrific but not sure of the home one. It looks a but plastic and artificial. I liked last season's home kit which brought back a lot of nostalgia for the era of Lawrie Mac although there was a marked contrast in the quality of football. Seem to recall a kit from the early 90'sith the black edging to the red stripes.

I wonder who actually designs these kits. To the lower league teams have their kit re-designs assigned to the office junior?

If they are correct the away one is a beaut and the home one looks like a cheap Aliexpress job

I know what you mean but the UA badge is predominantly white so would look weird on the white stripe. The club badge, being multi coloured works fine as it is. If you did both you mught have to look at the virgin logo too which would have been even worse!!

As polyester striped football shirts go I personally think it looks ok - it will grow on us in time I’m sure.

You’ll never beat last seasons kit though...
