Great strike from Rashford. Took Navas by surprise, I think.

"Danny Rose, on his debut, scored the most spectacular right-footed volley against Arsenal"?
Er, no he didn't, Clive. Left-footed. I'm pretty sure that you were there, too.
Don't think that Dele Alli was trying to shoot, either. You've had a mare, Clive. Sorry.

  4. He’s a complete twat - although most commentators are. Dread England games on ITV as his ill-informed sycophantic ramblings drive me bonkers. Hoddle was equally annoying yesterday.

David Beckham getting his daughter's teacher pregnant on the eve of the World Cup to distract
the media pressure away from the squad is the ultimate act of patriotism. Greatest England captain ever.

Who he doesn't qualify to play for. At all.

Not yet, but he's working on it.

The rules for becoming a naturalised Belgian citizen are five years of uninterrupted residence, and as it stands Bailey is a couple of months shy of completing his third year due to him still living in Genk, which is a 90 minute drive from Leverkusen.

Seems like rather an unnecessary slog, doesn't it?

Harry Redknapp used to commute in from Poole to Birmingham when he was in charge, which is three hours each way

Enzo Perez replaces Manuel Lanzini in the Argentina squad on the eve of the tournament.

That's either going to be a tactical masterstroke or the stick their coach gets beaten to death with after the tournament.

Hugo Lloris reaches out and touches the near post, 2 seconds later he is beaten at the near post as France concedes a goal to the United States. Btw, first goal ever scored by the US against France. You guys should go after Karius this summer!

Probably concussed by close contact with a not now going to Liverpool but staying with Lyon player

So you're saying that France fans should be sending him and his family death threats?

  20. Interesting comment from Eriksen......

I know he had a good game yesterday, but do you think he's referring to something else earlier in the week as well? Like signing a ****-off contract perhaps?? <laugh>
