    Not sure then, the youth of Southampton sound more cockney than the older generation I’ve found.

    If that is the new kit it just looks like any other boring red and white striped kit I’ve seen before down the years. It doesn’t even look “new era” just plain and simple.

    I like it. Apart from the first UA kit, I think they have delivered decent quality and let’s face it, they’re also paying us a LOT more than any of our previous suppliers

    I remember the days where shirts were used for 2 years, and they alternated between updating the home or away. How money has ruined the game.

    It's not that long ago that kits slowly evolved with no big changes.

    I remember looking in the window of Toomer's, seeing a Saints shirt with a collar and short sleeves, and being amazed at how radical and modern that looked.

    God, I'm old.

    I'm a traditionalist, I Iike us in red and white stripes but the plain back panel makes striped shirts look ****e. Even my red and white dressing gown looks better.
