Saves me the major disappointments some must feel when imaginary transfers don’t materialise. How are you and Ben keeping. Just to annoy you further I’m planning a September trip if fixture list and sky are helpful
"Bielsa is taking Leeds approach seriously and has been analysing the players currently at the club while making sure the Yorkshire outfit represent a good fit, he hopes to have a decision for them early next week"
The plug should be pulled. He was approached in December even billys statue has managed to evaluate our squad in that time. If belgrano hasn’t walked away he is clueless so should be ruled out.
I would expect a decent coach to have enough confidence in his own ability rather than expect the players to do his job.
How I read it, he wants to see how many new faces he feels we need and see if the budget matches what he feels we need to spend but for me this is the catch 22.. Having never had any experience in this division how do you know or understand where the bar stands? He might meet with the players work with them and improve their style by implementing small changes, it does sound a little like this guy wants it on a plate.

Hopefully is the case and might eventually shake rad and orta into the realization that the penny pinch approach will never ever work at Leeds. If they want a big name he has to be fully supported or just hire another Hockaday till Xmas
Maybe assurances are proving difficult to get. Remember the 49ers representative is likely to have a say now. Could be a differing in views on how to move forward.im sure they’ll want a day in how their 10m is spent
I agree and I don’t believe it is going to happen. My own personal opinion is Bielsa probably believes he needs a £20m pot and Orta is trying to convince him some of our players are more capable than they have shown. Orta might even be showing Bielsa a list of transfer targets and Bielsa isn’t impressed. It’s obvious we have a stumbling block of some kind and I’m not really blaming Leeds or Bielsa, I don’t for one minute expect Rad to throw £20m+ at this and if that’s the kind of figure Bielsa wants we should waste no more time. I’m not sure now who I’d like in charge, Bruce has shown he can get a team out of this division but he likes to spend, big Mick I wanted a while back now I’m not so sure but the bottom line is these names would want a say on transfers and unless we have a change of direction and more communication between Orta and the new coach we’re just going to go around in circles.
I was talking to a mate the other night who's an ex pro, and he believes that the hold up is to do with a pay off plan if he's dismissed before the season end. He wants assurances he will be given time to overall the squad and playing style. He also said he had heard of a very high profile British manager being approached but he turned them down flat, we're a bit of a laughing stock within the game as regard hiring and firing managers. He said we should have them queuing at the door but it's not going to happen, just the likes of Heck looking for financial pay off when they get the boot to boost their pensions. He did say he had heard that one manager being mentioned a lot is holding off taking another job because he wants it. He gave very good reasons why he wants it.
The thing i dont get is its only 9th of june and the players are on holiday.the new coach has got to be a good fit for us and the new direction the club is taking.so no rush from me i would rather we got it right this time. As for players coming in all we need is some quality and again no rush.good players keep fit and as for bedding them in a good player can play anytime and still produce a performance. Consistency from youth through to first team is the plan all going in the same direction. So give it time and we will see what progress has been made.i will give it my usual first ten league games and until then dont give a ****.
