The black lines between the stripes looks great, but they shouldn't have 'broken' the stripes just to fit in the UA logo. Looks a bit daft that bit. Otherwise, pretty slick. By the way, the plain backs rule is dumb AF, and blatantly wouldn't be in effect if Liverpool/Man Utd wore stripes.

It's decent. It's hard to make stripes look noteworthy (in a good way, at least), particularly now that solid colour backs have been mandated...the stripes are always going to lack continuity. Temptation was resisted to make up for that by being overly busy, which is a good thing.

Unless you’re Birthday is the end of August :)

I’m loving that!! I’m mightily pleased the shade of yellow looks very 76 like too.

I literally can't put into words how excited I am to get a yellow and blue away kit, and I don't give a **** how sad that is <laugh>

I’m with you. We can’t have season tickets this year, so likely to do more away games, thus making the yellow shirt a more sensible purchase!

Hell, perhaps I should buy the whole kit seeing as this season will be my last in my 40s. I believe they say men over 50 shouldn’t wear the whole kit anymore, if I’ve inderstood all the fashion advice on here... :bandit:

I plan on doing plenty of aways next year although I'm considering a ST depending on money etc.

Thing is I'll almost certainly buy a yellow shirt but I don't really wear colours away due to more pub choice so it might not get worn much! Might just stick to no colours for London aways.

TLL - the moment you speak, it says “Southampton” more than the colour of your shirt <laugh><laugh>

    .

That’s not being rude, by the way, just of all the not606ers I’ve met, you’re accent is the most Southampton like.

I've always been told mine is a bit country like too due to family from Swindon etc.

No offence taken though, mush ;) <laugh>

I thought you said it was going to be mainly white?

Either way, I think it’s okay, but a very boring design and not one I particularly like. Will become tired of it quickly, unlike this season’s which still looks smart even after a whole season. Retro is very in and popular in my opinion and club missed a trick here.

Also, it’s exactly the same as the third kit but white replacing one shade of red - very lazy from the designer, they’ve had a year to work on these!

I bought last season's away kit, first top I've bought for myself in donkey's years (think the 2001/2 black away shirt was the last).

Won't be doing that again in a hurry, the ****ing thing only brought bad luck. It's back to the Air Florida retro shirt for me.

What even is a “Southampton” Accent?!?! Describe it to me..?
Lived in London pretty much my whole life and I know people from Southampton who speak pretty much the same as way I do!

Really? Southampton definitely has an accent, slightly oinky. Maybe its becoming 'South east' diluted, but its always had more in common with the West Country in my opinion. An example.........grass would be pronounced graaaaass. It's the only bit I have left I think, from what was a medium/strong Soton accent when I first moved to London.
