tons of racing sat , too much to study tba, however , couple of runners have interest, Line of Reason in the big sprint ooop north o border , every win in his career has come mid june , including this race last year , 7lb lower this time Judicial at haddock for yard going real well 7/2 double and two singles for moi
Mainly comp picks with the addition of Highlight Reel in the 5-45 Haydock. Against my better instincts I backed a winning Frank mount yesterday, and as if that wasn't pushing it enough, I'm going along with him again today! The above animal has had the misfortune to be ridden by Frank, 2 runs ago, finishing well (natch) then the equally quirky Haley Turner who could never get in the race. Of the two I'd take Frank to be the one to get HR home, so maybe this is his day. In the opener at Musselburgh Reverend Jacobs should fight out the finish with Western Duke, who I think will prevail. Haydock today for me & the Mrs. Any info, tips or suggestions gratefully received. I quite fancy. 2.50 Euro Nightmare 3.25 Blue De Vega e/w 4.00 Tabarrak Looking forward to a nice day out. Good luck all
Most of the continent is living the Euro Nightmare but I do not expect them to get relief in the Haydock 2:50. The favourite God Given, with Frank aboard, looks opposable having only ever won on turf when it was soft, so the vote goes to CRIBBS CAUSEWAY, Roger Charlton’s filly having had a pipe-opener over further at York in a Group 3. I can see there being something of a consensus on here today for JUDICIAL in the Haydock 3:25. From a win point of view Muthmir has become disappointing in the last couple of years and Julie Camacho’s gelding comes here off a career-best effort in a Group 3 with three of today’s rivals behind. Reading the Fahey column, there is every reason to think that Knowing Glance will take advantage of bottom weight in the last but the bookies have factored that into the price. Although Ryan Moore is booked, I cannot be having Fahey’s Eastern Impact over at Newmarket in the 2:35: the seven year old has not won for over two years. GUNMETAL is in last chance saloon with me having failed twice after winning here last year; and it would be a career high winning mark for his new yard. In the 3:05, I am sticking with YAFTA despite the extra seven pounds for his easy win last time and the extra furlong. Thankfully Crowley is at Haydock so Dane O'Neill keeps the ride. O'Neill has a couple of other good chances in the Hamdan silks on this card. Visitors to Beverley today are certainly getting their money's worth with eight races including two trappy juvenile sprints. Bollin Ted looks the standout bet in the 4:25 but those Yorkshire bookies are not going to be generous with the odds. Watch every favourite but that one win! No word for the Midgley trio (yet) in the Scottish Sprint Cup (Musselburgh 2:30) and I like El Astronaute, despite him having to give weight to virtually the whole field; otherwise some disappointing and/or trappy fields north of the border. Good luck to anyone following Squire today but I do not see him winning (But what do I know? Not a lot!).
I like the look of Cribbs Causeway in the 2.50pm race. Not the strongest looking group 3 and must have a big chance. Enjoy your day out....let us know if you see any trouble..there's a few on here who avoid going racing on weekends due to the increased risk of this. . Good lord!
I don't know about tips but two that are carrying my money today at Haydock are 3:25 Muthmir 11/4 and 4:35 Mickey 5/1. Have a great day
I won't advertise my losers on here but I've picked 3 at Haydock in the Sat comp. I'll only mention it if they win PS Except my nap Emmaus (5/1) in the 4.00. So that is now bound to lose
Can't get excited in any way, shape or form about today's racing, all looks piss poor to me. Just popped on to wish stick the very best of luck with Squire
7.05 Stratford Cause Toujours is said to be much better than the Skelton Horse. They should know as it was once with them.
