Interesting to think whether Spurs fans would prefer Kane had an awesome tournament to build a bumper price in future, or a **** one so clubs never come knocking...

Well presumably the majority want him to have an awesome tournament as they support England too?

Poch and Kane are out of the door...Who's leaving us next?

I reckon it could be Eriksen or Alli

Support England more than the club team? Does anybody do that anymore?

Eriksen would be the killer. Kane or Alli could be replaced, albeit expensively. Eriksen is the heartbeat of the team.

Why does it have to be a choice? You can support both you know and it would be a bit ****ty of any Spurs fans to actively hope England do poorly so it's less likely anyone comes in for Kane.

    Vertonghen will follow shortly afterwards.

    Let's just hope Sissoko stays.

Why is it ****ty? I think the devolution of authorities to regions politically is because now we generally feel less connected to a nation entity than we used. I think there's quite a few who are passive on whether England do well or not.

You're also equating Kane doing well to England being successful, and Kane doing poorly to England doing poorly... they don't necessarily rely on each other because Kane has not ever been a star man who carries the team. I think we'd have very few who would get into a Germany or a Brazil first 11 if they had the required nationality, I think Kane would be a squad player at best for the big boys.

Still a top player, but surely our chances rely much more on dynamic players like Rashford, Lingard, Sterling (still has very poor end product, but anyway).

Can Spurs handle the massive transfer fee they'd get, or would they panic and get Soldado back? <laugh>

You may as well ignore the trophy imo, it seems your argument ous purely that Kane will leave next summer

If spurs win a pot I think he’ll stay. As he’s alluded to in his comments. If they go potless yet again then I honestly think he’ll be looking to move to a club where he can win things.

They have a League title to tempt him away with and they may have a wad of cash soon if they sell Mahrez
