Not the most interesting story that's been on the show her family and they didn't feature her father's side, but was too distracted by other things to care
Saw Solo last night. Twas ok... confirmed my opinion that Emily Clarke really isn't a good actress. Young guy had worked hard to replicate Ford's mannerisms. Donald Glover was great at Lando. But as Mark Kermode said in his review it's all getting a bit overkill. "That lamp 10 minutes into episode 4; how did it get there? Here's a star wars story about it" lol
She's literally the same in anything .... that semi ironic stare as a response to every scene.... she really has lived off the GoT hype... What's worse is Thandie Newton was in it too..... and she is exactly the same in most things .........
Yeah.... likes of Empire etc you always suspect a little money influence ... I like that he can say "I don't like this film but it's my thing ...it's done well for it's genre etc " And the fact he despises Michael Bay which is entertaining lol
It's good when it suits her...casting obviously smart....don't get me wrong I liked her on the screen ... westworld comes to mind...even MI2 she upgraded a silly film somewhat.
Just wait until it's on Netflix or whatever... it's light hearted but you can see it had multiple directors with very different ideas... As others have said there's a bit where the original reble leader appears....she has charisma and if they have to make this type of film she's the kind that they should be brave enough to make rather than Lando, Fett, lamp, origin stories.....
Glitch Season 1 7.8/10 well worth a watch, it's quite short only 6 episodes and it gets intyersting as it goes on despite its at times Neighbours/Home& Away feel.
The kids are watching the care bears movie at the moment. That one from the 80's. You know how I complain that "yellow taxi" chick that RHC likes always sings flat (for some reason forget her name)... This movie is awful. It's full.of songs but they picked the worst singers in the world worse than her... Even more off key.
Started Patrick Melrose, very good so far. Some good stuff in Sky and coming soon ono Sky. The Affair is back and there's a new series called Sharp Objects with Amy Adams.
