Some of the bigger clubs can just tie players up. They can go years without seeing a competitive game.
The FA shouldn't just limit the size of the named squad members but also the number of players on their books.
It's stifling player development and financially penalizing clubs outside the inner circle.
Man city Hoover up players, inflate their salaries then discard them with clubs having to pay inflated salaries as they've become Billy big bollocks because they "used to play for man city".
Average players are now on 40 - 50 - 60k a week.
