I would love to see those two play together in a team sometime, preferably not against us!

Alderwiereld and VVD. Two of the best players to ever play for Saints, IMO.

Also two of the biggest helmets, unfortunately.

I went for Jose and Jos. Maya was a close 3rd. As others have said, and it's not really up for debate but VVD and Toby are easily the best.

It’s interesting how many of us think Virgil and Toby were the best, and loads of us love Jos and Maya, but Jose is way out in front! I loved him for years, he stepped down a League to join us and helped us get from League One to the Prem, and even made Lovren look good for a season. But his antics after the Euros did him no good in my eyes, albeit he was egged on by his agent. I just couldn’t bring myself to vote for him.

 

Surprised only two people have voted for Jaidi. He was a big part of our journey in the early days, and he's still with us now.
