Just found this article on the BBC. Nothing to do with Footy except that it makes you realise that not all sportsman are overpaid wimps.

Yep - those TT guys are pretty insane

Used to work with a guy who was the passenger on a sidecar racing team - think it's fair to say he suffered from a distinct lack of imagination

Mind you, I had an artery cut in my hand while fencing due to a blade break - still competing lol

 

Crap riding mind

I watched some of the action this week from the Isle of Man. Bikes blasting at 160mph around the streets, one mistake and you are history. Mental.

 

And they ban cannabis

 

Don’t know why he falls off but bike behind just misses him as he drags himself across the road. Mad.

 

Think he is probably addicted to morphine and by the sound of it ketamine as well anyway.

 

He was doubly lucky.

I saw some clips of riders coming off, one was thrown off the track at speed and went tumbling down the hillside. I bet he had a bad head in the morning.

 

Assuming he could find it !!!
