Good Morning Everyone I have to say the City of Leeds did England proud last night. Everything went to plan and a good night was had for all. Let's hope they don't wait until 2034 for their next visit to ER. Its great to see that LUFC have the facilities to host boxing and International Football, not just domestic football. There is nothing new to report regarding talks with Bielsa, nor Hernandez. I'd have to say that the more time it drags on, the less likely it is. To my way of thinking, today is D-day. There needs to be significant progress today to keep the wheels turning in the right direction. Given the choice, between bringing Bielsa or Hernandez to the club, who would it be? Norwich City are set to sign Emiliano Buendia in a deal worth £1.5m this summer, according to the Eastern Daily Press. A host of Championship clubs, including Leeds are said to be interested in the 21 yo Argentine forward. He has been on loan last season with our sister club Culture Club! Pick two player Carlton Palmer or Alfe Inge Haaland and Gunnar Halle or Robert Molanaar
Morning all. Great movement of transfers in and out. Suppose awaiting a manager or coach before the movements begin
Morning Ell. A more stable manager could get us promoted with Hernandez up front - Ranieri and Hernandez my dream ticket, Huth to partner Jansson at the back.
Morning all. Heard the 'we all hate leeds scum' sung at the game last night. Followed by 'All Leeds aren't we' Ground looking old though, but for the impressive east stand. 36k attendance - should be looking to have a 50 - 60k stadium.
Emma was putting it all out there, trying to work out if she is desperately trying to bag a footballer husband or a mainstream tv job. Either way she wont really be in a position to join the movement #metoo
Morning all... I resigned myself yesterday to neither happening, the release of Pearce signing a new contract when he had obviously signed it many days ago was the confirmation for me, I’ll still cling on to any feint hope though. I’d really like to know where it went wrong, it seemed a certainty this time last week that we’d get the new coach so what’s happened? Can the board not back his ambitions with the funds required, have Bielsa and Orta hit a stumbling block in regards to each other’s roles?? Hernandez most important for me although saying that, Bielsa would only join if Orta takes more of a back seat so it’s a close call which is more important. In regards to Hernandez he is/was either waiting for news on our new coach and ambitions for the new season or LCW was right, we have been played for a better contract. Haaland and Halle, easy today as I never liked Palmer.
good morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey I agree with Matt 2 things need sorting straightaway Bielsa and Hernandez Marriot won't wait forever Not surprised Spurs after Grealish woiuld solve many problems for Villa but would probably not do us a favour as we need Lansbury and Adomah who would have been cheap Personally I thought Pa;lmer was useless at best so Halle and Haarland
Morning all I think the club should release daily statements on all of our negotiations. Tell us (and everyone else) who our targets are, if we have approached them, if they are interested, how much they want per week, whether we can afford them and when we think they will sign. Even better, tell us which players we are trying to move on and who, if anyone is interested. At least if we can’t shift the useless ones they will have had a decent kick in the nuts knowing we think they are sh1te. After all, that is how all professionally operated organisations work isn’t it?
Morning Glory, she could have been in the middle of the South Stand, and she would have stood out a mile...
OK lads I'm on the edge of my seat TELL ME TELL ME The big announcement after last nights game was ? wow this is exciting
Morning ristac, I think Leeds have a limit that they do not want to exceed which is fair enough, especially if we have other options. Its a fine line, we don't want Leeds to cave in like Ridsdale but we want a good deal.
