Sunderland announced their retained list today and it confirmed a number of departures from the club, with John O’Shea, Marc Wilson, Kazenga Lua Lua, Jeremain Lens, Fabio Borini and Billy Jones all leaving the club.
Joining those senior players in departing the club are youngsters Tom Beadling, Jean-Yves Poame, Josh Robson, James Talbot and Dan Wright.
Didier Ndong is expected to leave the club imminently too, with Torino agreeing a fee for the Gabon international.
With so many players departing, and more to come with the likes of Lamine Kone, Wahbi Khazri, Papy Djilobodji and Jack Rodwell still on the books, the club will need to be active in the transfer market to build a squad capable of giving Jack Ross the best possible chance of getting out of League One at the first attempt.
Thankfully the club are doing just that, as we can confirm that the club are currently working on transfers for SIX players to make a switch to the Stadium of Light and, if everything goes to plan, we can expect some news on ins and outs next week.
Although no names have been mentioned, it’s encouraging that the club are already in advanced discussions with incoming targets, despite Jack Ross only officially being charge for little over a week.
In recent weeks we have been strongly linked with the likes of Scottish international trio John McGinn, Dylan McGeouch and Lewis Morgan, as well as League One standouts Marcus Maddison, Hakeeb Adelakun and Erhun Oztumer, Burton Albion utility player Tom Naylor and Ross’ former players at St Mirren, Gavin Reilly and Kyle Magennis.
We’ll have to wait and see whether or not any of those men are amongst the six players in talks with the club, but Sunderland’s busy summer shows now sign of abating.

I saw. We have a lot of expats on this site who can often have trouble with british urls. Plus workers often face blocks on mainstream sites, add to that It also reduces costs for those paying for internet data and combats click baiting(doesn't apply to RR) from those nasty greedy media companies who get paid everytime we click. So the reason for pasting the whole article is many fold. The op genrally pastes the whole article out of consideration, providing of course they're on a device capable of copy and pasting. In which case, somebody else kindly pastes the article down like i've done here. There's no malice meant, just doing what's always been done. <ok>

edit Not to mention the many ads which slow older systems to a standstill.

Fair enough. At least its not an abusive reply id have expected.
I've been on other forums where you're not allowed to copy and paste the article due to copyright infringement, and their mods discourage it.

This site is ran by a bloke(Mick) who doesn't give a **** so long as it complies with goggle's adult restrictions(so no porn pic/vids, snuff films ect that the google bots can pick up on) This as wild west as you can get without the site being classified adult.

Go and have a look in the General Chat section of the site. They're all feral there <laugh>
