That’s why I went for Shaw rather than Bertrand. Ryan’s sulks mean I have never really engaged with him, good as he is.
Favourite (and my choice) is Luke but the best is probably Bertie. I'm also going to put a word in for the unfairly maligned Danny Fox too, his assists from wicked set-play deliveries were a crucial factor in our promotion to the PL and it's a shame that, as with SKD and others, the step up was a bit too big for his overall ability and he struggled a bit, (some fans have short memories though).
Bertrand for me too. I really liked Luke (and some of the stories you can about him are quite hilarious...) but still Bertrand for me.
Bertrand is the best, obviously, and by some distance. But there'd be no point having a vote at all if ability was the only consideration. So it's Dan Harding all the way for me - the only one of those to have lifted a trophy at Wembley. And he was certainly the best left back in League 1.
It's why I have, finally, decided upon Fox. Sod his defending, we're not voting for the best. I miss someone being able to take a cracking corner. (As for you nine...)
Harding favourite, mainly because of where we were, and where we knew we were going. Plus I had a chat with him when I did a charity parachute jump a few years ago and he came across as a genuinely nice friendly guy. Bertrand by far the best we've had for donkey's years
