<laugh> Seeing as you lot always bang on about your 'double' against Chelsea last season, Spurs did that to you last season also. Light-years ahead indeed.

Yet another cretinous statement. Liverpool have so far beaten (very luckily) an extremely poor, and demoralised Arsenal team, and Bolton. Arsenal were completely dismantled by Utd, and Bolton ain't exactly championship contenders. Now, all of a sudden, you're "light years" ahead of a team who comfortably beat you on your own ground, only a few months ago. Try a drop of reality juice, pal. You certainly need it.

Do you know how idiotic you sound? Saying we are only doing as well as Wolves who have 7 points. But you have 0 points from 2 games, even if you win your game in hand you will still be 4 points behind? How bad does that make your team then? Also when you say "far better" they have 2 more points. You do realise that in 1 game that can be turned from 2 points behind to 1 point infront?

We are delighted we are doing just as well as Chelsea. If we carry on like that we'll be challenging for 3rd.

And Spurs were destroyed by teams that Liverpool didn't beat but destroyed last season. Liverpools squad is far better now than it was last season and we've proved it.
We'll find out in a couple of weeks time when Liverpool disassemble Spurs at WHL.

You could not even do that against one of the worst Arsenal teams ever. And only got your chance to win once we went down to 10 men. Only City or United could have done that to Spurs yesterday not Liverpool. By the time you play them they will have a good forward (Ade) and probaly settle down when the transfer window closes. Also Liverpool's recent head to head vs Spurs is piss poor.

Brilliant! Managed to look at every single point in my responce apart from the one about you having 0 points and how bad that makes you! Well, as long as you are happy with doing just as well as Blackburn then I guess we are all happy :D

And yes, if Newcastle carry on doing just as well as us and Chelsea. I wouldn't mind seeing them back in Europe. A big club with decent fans who have just been messed about with poor owner (much like we were 2 years ago).

I repeat, you've played nobody, yet. You're very welcome to come and try to disassemble us at WHL. Just like you did in two games last season. <laugh> <laugh> You scousers really take the biscuit when it comes to self-delusion.

For a grammar Nazi, your proof-reading abilities are abysmal. Also I would rather be as good as Wolves than have no points and a goal difference of -7.

We hadn't won at the Emirates before we played you this season, so I don't think recent record really comes into it.

    Gerrard average? Weird.

I doubt you will face a Spurs side that will have as many injuries and banned players as we did. Recent record does come in to it, the current players at Spurs know how to beat Liverpool and have done it plenty of times over the last few years.

What a load of rubbish <laugh> I've watched Liverpool for 10 years, most games with Gerrard, some without, and we've been COMFORTABLY better with Gerrard in the side, and painfully average most of the times without.

It's a squad game and you have a poor squad. We could blame a few defeats last season on injuries or suspensions but it just sound's like a pathetic excuse.

Wow, I spelt a word incorreclty, that must mean my point is invalid? In my opinion City away will be harder than City at home so you haven't played your 2 hardest games of the season yet either.

Good luck in getting your first points of the season. With the transfer window closing I'm sure players will be thrilled to come to you and help you try and fight Blackburn & West Brom in not being the last team to register points :)

Yes it might of took almost 80min but from what i saw it was end to end stuff, with LFC just edging it
and were worthy to get the 3 points. You say that we have only Suarez,Mereilles Kuyt and Reina
You just wait and see in the next few weeks how our new players do

And for your sorry thing of course your not going to believe in it
    YOU SUPPORT A DIFFERENT TEAM

Strange, as we were always a 1 man team with Gerrard, but apparently he's no good? I guess it's all about having strength in depth. If one of our CM's isn't playing too well, can bring them off and stick Gerrard on.

I would have thought that Henderson would be dropped for him though - but if he plays like he did against Bolton then Gerrard may have to sit out a bit longer.

Using that logic that means as a team Blackpool are a better team than Liverpool. Beating a team once or even twice in a season dosen't mean you are better than them. Liverpool have beaten Man U home and away in the past and finished miles behind them in the league. In the last couple of seasons Liverpool have raised their game against the bigger teams but have had losses against teams they should have beaten easily.

Suarez seems to have fitted in very well at Liverpool. Falls over when someone breathes on him and continually tries to get opponents sent off.
