I'd rather buy nobody than sell one of our best potentials. He's 25, one good season & he'll go for big bucks, but please can we see him flourish in a real team for one term first.
It feels like a some fans are a little too desperate for transfer activity.

 

I'm not desperate, I'm just not that arsed either.

 

You should be arsed. If we cash in early, there may well be another last minute buy that leaves us short. We need Mario.

 

I'd rather have someone that is committed to the club than a player who is talking to other clubs * if the tweet is to be believed.

 

If he comes out tomorrow and states that he sees his future at Saints, then I will be contented with that too.

 

We do need an overhaul but Lemina is a very good player. An overhaul usually means getting rid of your fringe players and some that have been here a while. I wouldn’t be looking to get rid of a player who is clearly hugely talented and shock, horror, hasn’t found consistency in his first season.

 

But like the rest of the team, before the last 8 games, he didn’t have a hope in hell...

 

Needs an arm around him, needs to see what we are planning. If he's smiling when he playing, we have a key player.
Hope Mark knows that.
(On a side note, were I Napoli, I'd be trying everything to unsettle him)

 

So after a few years of losing our good players and almost diving into obscurity, we'll sell off our potentially good players and buy some well known average players. Seems like a plan.

 

I'm not too disappointed if Mario goes. Undoubtedly got a lot of talent but hard to manage and causes friction.

Now there's an argument to be made that Pellegrino let him get away with it, but who knows.

Maybe Hughes would sort him out, but I'm not convinced.

 

I’d take Joe Allen but only if he sorts his barnet out first , shocking !!!

 

Who would you like to see move on, And saints to bring in?

 

Shaqiri and Allen are probably both good (+ expensive), but having played for Hughes in the past is an automatic no from me. I'm completely hard line on this.

Our interest in Alfie Mawson is true apparently,(according to an ITK on another forum) wonder how much he will go for?

 

Will be gutted if he goes. One of our only footballers that’s good at football

 

If we sign him, somewhere between £12m and £18m.

If another mid-table PL sides signs him, somewhere upwards of £25m.

 

Also - I have just read that villa are in the **** as China have stopped all money relating to sport leaving the country. This means that their Chinese owner is struggling to fund them.

I would hazard a guess, and say this will be a huge problem for us too?

 

And maybe be the replacement for Wes? As people are saying he is deleting his association with saints on his social media accounts.
