They got permission and bought the rights to make an American version way back when Blatant copy because its supposed to be.
Does anyone have a Scooby wtf is going on in Westworld? Totally lost. Final season of The Americans - fabulous.
The worst copy was coupling. It ran screen for screen and almost word for word copy of the original but the acting was just so awful... Despite being superficially the same just with American actors it was soooo bad. I still haven't seen the original Mad Dogs, only the American version.
Gracepoint is the same as broadchurch only set in America with different actors... Although they nabbed Dr. Who to play the same character in Gracepoint that he played in broadchurch. I didn't bother watching the American version but another scene for scene and almost exact word for word copy from what I understand. It bombed in the US.
Coupling was one of my favs, it had a really good cast and so was the writing, i'd say it was underrated. Some of the acting that comes out of America is an abomination, so it's no surprise that they have so many Brit actors over there. Their Red Dwarf copy was terrible beyond words.
I don't disagree. Watched it because it was the Mrs. favourite. I used to enjoy making fun of how everyone is sad all the time. Literally every character was depressed about something in 75% of all scenes. Last season was more tolerable that the first two though... Although it was still a bunch of moping people.
just watching Michelle Keegan on who do you think you are. she's well fit but as thick as **** with an annoying voice... still a wid
