Who said the people in the plane didnt die? If the gov't would be prepared to sacrifice lives in the towers, the lives in the planes would similarly be of little consequence. In fact a heroic but ultimitly futile story of heroism inside a plane would embolden the patriotism induced ignorance of listening only to the poisonous words of the gov't and blindly following.
