Probably one of the best and worst jobs to have in football. You get all the money and resources but are expected to win everything. It's like a lose lose situation, you win but are expected to win and if you lose, you're sh1t. It looks good on the CV but no one is really rating you for the win. Which is probably why Wenger never went.
Klopp turned down Man Utd because they are a circus not a football club, and Real Madrid are even more of a #joke than them
The job must be a bit of a poisoned chalice - who wants to take over a club which has won 3 Champions League titles in a row. It can only go downhill. Real think that they are so great that all they have to do is sniff and people will come running - the bookies even have Diego Simeone as 9th favourite - as if anyone would risk moving from Atletico to Real. The problem is that Real think that everyone wants to go there and the media thinks that everyone has their price. An official announcement from Klopp - along the lines of **** off, would be welcome here.
Someone showed me an article on the internet taken from the Daily Star last night. Along the lines of Klopp will go to Real if they sign Mo Salah and de Gea
In all seriousness, why would he even consider it? I'm not saying their fans aren't as passionate as ours, but they're used to dirty tactics. Klopp's not like that and there's unfinished business at Anfield. He won't leave us until he's won a title and a trophy. He wants us. Also he knows how tough the fans are.
I agree. Klopp seems to be a different breed. He seems more in it for the love of the sport than your average manager. If he were a money and fame hungry monster he would already be somewhere else earning more money.
