I tell you what it's not, a game with sin bins and constant stoppages for var - basically becoming like a Yank sport. Before you know it we'll be getting ad breaks in breaks in play etc.

    Not for me thanks <ok>

So it's just for dissent and diving? I can see the attraction. Might be worth trialing it.
Why green, though? Bit of a stupid point, I'll admit, but it seems like a strange choice, to me.
    Orange? Blue?

Gaelic football has a black card. Enforced substitution for intentional fouls, abuse or dissent.
This seems a bit like that.

I actually agree with the stoppages and becoming a Yank game as a problem ...I recall 4 quarters being discussed not long ago, no thanks. However I think the cheating players need sorting out. I don't really mind the odd bit of shenanigans...but feigning injuries etc, we don't need that.

Yeah I do agree on the cheating and stuff but again I think it just needs harsher punishments which will make coaches tell the players not to do it.

Don't really feel for refs in terms of dissent as they have the power to do something about it. The rules are in place for them, before the start of the season the PL should announce that refs have been told to take a no tolerance stance to dissent and any player who isn't captain that argues a decision will be booked without exception.

You'd have a few weeks of high yellow and maybe even red cards but it'd soon put a stop to it.

dissent & diving, I'd add the profesional midfield foul/handball to the list, I hate it when a team is on a break-away and a player takes a yellow for the team, (although it is my prefered tactic on PES & FIFA)

Because the team who had a man sent off will have to replace that first team starter with someone else in the following fixture which just happens to be against a rival team.

    So for example

Let's say Lesta are playing United. Lesta have a man sent off in the last minute...lets say Riyad Mahrez. You don't really benefit from that in your game realistically as its FT in a few more minutes and it's not likely much will happen. However next week, Lesta are playing City.

Mahrez won't be available for Lesta therefore their starting XI has weakened and the ones to benefit from that are City, your rivals.

CONIFA rules state that "a player who receives a green card must leave the field of play immediately, but can be replaced if his team have not used all of their substitutes. A player receiving a green card is not excluded from his team's next match."

All there in the OP if you bothered reading it :emoticon-0100-smile

I object to the colour green. I think it should be orange. Anyone who knows their primary and secondary colours knows that orange is between yellow and red. Green is blue and yellow, and green usually denotes a positive symbolism e.g. going green, green traffic lights, greens aka ganja, green tea. Makes zero fcking sense. Orange or amber is where it's at,
