I genuinely know nothing about the bloke. With all the strikers at Man U I thought there might have been an opportunity there for a loan
When i first heard about the move i was a bit sceptical as he is exactly what we already have, he doesn't look that much quicker than Mclean or Fryatt from what i have seen. We need someone with pace who can get behind defences. If we are spending 1.7M on him which is reported in this thread i would rather it go elsewhere, if it is a loan i don't mind as we still have another couple of loan spots available if we find someone that we like.
1.7 million is a lot of money but if you look at most of the transfer fees being paid for strikers at the moment it is actually cheap. Add to that he is only 21 and has Premiership and Champ. experience.
Sorry guys, I just don`t see Waggy being the answer, he is like for like with Matty, just can`t see how the two will play well together, hope I`m wrong, but from what the Leicester fans (the sensible ones) are saying its either Waggy or Matty, but not the two. Interesting that the suggestion is that Steve Howard is looking for a new club, oh why oh why if thats the case didn`t we go for him instead of the lamp post that is Adebola ! Howard seems to be the link between both Waggy and Matty finding form and scoring goals.
He looks good for interviews.
Sounds a bit too pricey for me. Ipswich paid less for Chopra. If they throw in Howard for nowt then that'll do me
I would be very surprised if we were to make any sort of firm offer in this transfer window. I'm not sure that Leicester would sell at £1.7m either. This might be an interesting point though, which could point to a loan deal in mid-September: @PJBuckingham #hcafc's hopes of landing Martyn Waghorn have not been helped by an injury to David Nugent. Leicester will wait for news on that.
Leicester I think will get Maynard before the end of the transfer window. Which still leaves them with Schlupp (sp?) Vassell. I still think Waghorn will come.
Also from Wiki: His career was almost over before it began, whilst playing for the club he was sentenced to 11 weeks in a Young Offender's Institute for his part in an armed street robbery in Muswell Hill committed before signing for the club.[3] He returned to Southampton after completing his sentence, but was eventually released as a player with a bad reputation.[4] He was offered terms by Swindon Town after a successful trial before Newcastle snapped him up.
AP. In fact, the last City player to be charged with it, AP was supporting him from the gallery. Loves a bit of fisticuffs does our AP.
Percy you are a disgrace to this forum, you cannot be a City supporter because all you ever do is bitch about them and the management, bit like TonyM on the daily fail who i am convinced is you as no 2 individuals could come out with the exact same bolloxs all the time.
