Repaying fans for poor performances

    I have just read that Arsenal are to reimburse fans who went up to Old Trafford and saw manure beat them 8-2.

    Seems a good idea, can Sunderland fans now request repayment by the club for the team not turning up when the skunks beat us 5-1, 1-0 and for the 1-1 draw. SB and the players can surely afford it, you never know we could then see real effort put in on the pitch for 90 minutes!

    Actually, they're not. What they are saying is that they will ... "..cover the cost of a match ticket at a future Barclays Premier League away game".

    Details of this "offer" will be sent in writing to them. Not exactly what the gooners who saw the debacle at OT may have hoped for?!
