Plus, as I say, aside from Ingram, Glamorgan are pretty useless.

Still, you can only take on whatever is put is front of you.

No, left out of both squads (vs Scotland and Aus).

Not too surprising though. Although white ball cricket is arguably Vince's better format, getting into England's white ball batting line-up is incredibly difficult these days. (Unless you're the captain.)

Gloucs going great guns against Kent, which is good news for us. Although Kent did score almost 400 there two days ago!

Well done Mason, important wicket that. Obviously. Hopefully we keep them to 230 from here.

Three caught and bowled's (plus a fourth that was dropped) is a good indication that it's a difficult wicket.

VDG can hit a bit shot on his day. Don't know anything about Carey's batting.

Big trouble now. Need the two kids to reproduce their Kent partnership (without the ending).

Brad Taylor did an excellent job to anchor the innings. Really, really good innings from him while Bergy did his stuff. And Kent are threatening to mess up their run chase.

    Sets up an exciting Wednesday.

You'll be looking to take a home SF us.

If you don't, Essex will be looking to take a home QF from you.

If they don't, Somerset, Gloucs and Surrey (and, in theory, Middlesex) will be looking to take an away QF from them.

Yes, Glamorgan and Sussex are both out (and Middlesex are basically out), but there is something to play for in all four games.

I'm guessing Sky will look to televise our game against Somerset, but they might choose your game against Essex. Both games involve sides who both have something to play for.

In fact, thinking about it, televising your game probably makes more sense. Whilst both games involve the fights for 1st and 3rd, your game also involves the fight for 2nd.

I've just had my first proper look at the North group (mainly to see what chance we have of avoiding Notts, or of getting Worcs or Derby).

The joint top two, Worcs and Warks, play each other in what is basically a KO QF. The winner will go straight through to the SF. The loser, despite being joint top with one match to play, is currently in danger of not even making the top three!
