There Are Always Some Worse Off

Two results there yesterday
Which makes ours impress even more,
2-8 or 1-5 could have been
Quite easily our final score

That is, if you believe all those
So-called experts who like to show,
Their knowledge of our worthy team
Just goes to prove how much they know

So I´m really longing to hear
Their predictions for months nine and ten,
Where I´d say our four games at home
Could give maximum points for our men

Though all wins will be hard to find
I´m sure those down north London way,
Have not finished yet with their moans
After seeing their beloved ones play

And could those games be just a sign
That those at the very, very top,
Are not the ones we had in mind
Nor will they be, down near the drop

Now that would be good for a change
And take me back quite a few years,
Before the rich became more so
And the poor just fell more in arrears

So once more, I just have to say
That nothing of what we have seen,
Of this Premier League and it´s games
Need make us fearful of our dream. OTBC

As you say, sir, we have fared better than some and very much better than a lot of predictions! I think we're here to stay
