    It was in the good old days of football when people voted because they could and wanted to without the inducement/bribe needed of a prize holiday at the end of it.

    I went to that match. I also remember going to a friendly against Newcastle at BP around the same time. There was another one against Aberdeen I think, which had the first full colour programme. I've got it in my loft. The programme, not the match.

    Again in the good old days at Boothferry Park does anyone remember a Christmas Draw when all four of the four top prizes donated by Sutton Travel of erm, Sutton, were won by relatives of the bloke employed by City to organise the draw ? Someone Dyass or similar ?
    Then again when Andy Saville won the week's holiday in Florida in a Christmas Draw ?
