So normally they’d have their man lined up. Now they’re on the back foot and the press are guessing at who their prime target will be. I’d not be surprised in the slightest if they took Wenger for a year, whilst they lined up a longer term replacement

 

They all do that, it’s a Knee Jerk reaction when the butt-hurt comes.

My ex missus is Spanish, so for many years I did. I doubt you know "Spanish Culture" any better than I do, and what you said about Real and bad manners was baloney.

Her old man hated Real, with a passion pretty much unheard of among football fans in the UK, but that's another matter.

There a few here who do too. They’re mostly Real here, but there’s one Barca bar. Let’s just say they don’t socialise! The anti Catalan feeling here is quite prevalent.

In general, they can be quick to take offence, even if you haven’t got a clue what you’ve done. Sometimes it’s something that you didn’t say or do, it takes a while to get used to navigating your way through their version of manners.

And, no it wasn’t. To refuse what you have yet to be offered would be considered very bad manners.

This thread has prompted me to have a look at how the new Spurs stadium is getting on. They have some "live" cameras dotted around the stadium.
I know cladding type materials can be installed, with large areas covered, very quickly, but IMO having it ready for the start of the new season looks like a tall order.

 

As we speak it’s hidiously over budget by 65% and likely to come in at 1.2 billion shekels.

 

Contracts mean nothing nowadays.

 

He also didn’t rule out managing Real Madrid.

 

What foresight! I’m surprised no one has picked that up.
