Leedsof, think your right, rather him than sam allardyce or similar, Total nutter, press conferences last for hours he attends everyone. Isnt he the bloke who had thousands of videos(the old days) of every other team?
I’m missing it to, this is another disaster in the making. I agree 100% with all what you have said and even if he was the greatest coach on the planet he isn’t going to magically make Grot, O’Kane, De Bock and all the others any better, he is a coach not a magician.
TBF I'm not saying he is right, just what the positive might be if he joins (and I'm sure I said the only positive). I've already said I don't believe he will be our next coach.
Totally agree, but if he comes he will want quality players, thats why he walked out on lazio,he was promised players and the club didnt deliver. Also have serious doubts about him coming, but makes for an interesting few weeks.
I’ll give any new coach my 100% support, I just don’t understand Rads doing a half hearted change, Orta needs to be shown the door as well, just no point in having any coach in charge and having a DOF blindly make the signings. Crazy why we never said goodbye to PH after the final game, the handling and sending him with the squad for an end of season tour is all very distasteful
Also agree the DOF should sign the players the manager wants,do the paper work etc,not just turn up and go 'I bought this left back, keeper etc.
I honestly don't go fishing... I leave that to the experts. Anyway Glory is probably asleep after his meds kicked in..
I wish I could have your optimism Doc, but I'm afraid I don't. I see this guy who had a reasonable spell in charge at international level, and one good season in charge of a European club, followed by a lot of poor and mediocre seasons in charge of other European clubs. Whilst I acknowledge that two premier league managers speak highly of him, his managerial record does not reflect their opinion of him, and if I am truly honest none of the so called managers in the running for the job excite me that much, in fact the only rumour that did peak my interest, was the one about Inzaghi. In my mind if we as a club are going to take a gamble, which would be basically on anyone who hasnt managed in England before, then I would prefer it to be on someone who has had some measure of success within the last 3 years, and if I had to stick my neck out to name someone, then it would be Graham Potter (although I've just found out that Swansea are apparently after him)
Aski the whole of the football world including media and TV are raving about this. Also Villa fans complaining why they didnt get him instead of Bruce. If it comes off it may not work but I think we will hVe a crazy ride for however long he stays. http://outsideoftheboot.com/2016/11/17/marcelo-bielsa-exploring-el-loco/
