marcelo sounds like just the manager leeds will pick someone who does not speak a word of english and does not know the championship have"nt we been here before ? oh and he is 62 years old so i cannot see him charging down the touchline or passionately urging leeds on , maybe he will get pushed down thwe touchline in a wheel chair he will be that slow , get steve bruce in he knows the championship inside out and he knows how to defend OH AND 1 MORE IMPORTANT THING HE CAN SPEAK ENGLISH EVEN THOUGH IT HAS A SCOTTISH TWANG !! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GET MARCELO !!

Bobby Robson was 63 and couldn't speak Spanish when he managed Barcelona. And have you seen the videos of Bielsa...? Energy, passion and determination would not be an issue.

Steve Bruce is 57, so only 5 years younger and too ****ing fat to go charging passionately down the touchline. Oh and failed to get Villa up after spending 130 million this season (to put this perspective Real Madrid won the champions league spending less this season).

Aski I get it you dont rate him and would prefer someone else. Thats fine mate and as we can see on this board there are peeps who agree with you. On the subject of the world rankings what a load of crap that stat is, I would think that 2 of the best coaches in the world right now in Pep and Potch both say Bielsa is the worlds best, I think that means I will go with that rather than a dairymilk stat.

I also think that if he comes he could be a problem for the Board as he might just walk out. But hey this guy will do what this club has wanted someone to do for years. It wont be pretty behind the scenes but I reckon some of our average players may just turn out to be good players. i reckon he will have players identified and brought in. We will see pacey attacking play with goals.

Both of us cant be right but both of us can agree to disagree. Whatever happens you have to admit theres a new going on this Summer. Last Summer was wild and optimistic but this is something else you have to admit....... so far

Been out working all day so wondering what I missed. Saw the Heckingbottom headline. Some of us said he was a crazy appointment but we’re slated of course. New manager announced yet?

I think the main, maybe only positive, is what someone posted earlier, and that is Pep and Poch are likely to loan us their top end talent just below their 1st teams because they will expect he will 'school' them in how they want their teams to play. This could be a very affordable way to get promoted and some might stay permanently (think Mooy at the dog botherers). Brighton also went through the divisions using Hughton's links with Tottenham.

    Love Leeds fans on twitter

    So, Bielsa in summary:
Once confronted fans with a hand grenade
Is seen as the football equivalent of Jesus in Chile.
Is viewed by Guardiola and Pochetino as their mentor
    Plays a bat-****-crazy (but awesome) formation/style
    Mad as a march hare.

Come on, he has to sign.

Unbelievable. I'll raise you, he took Athletic Bilbao to the Europa League final which because of their club law, was done with a completely Basque squad. Just think about how hard that is, especially in the modern day. What a coach.

OK, you're probably right as always, the team that won the premier league with a record 100 points and the team that finished 3rd whose manager is in the frame for the Real Madrid job probably don't have any players we could use. You're right, lets stick with Ekuban & Jerry whatsisname from series B.
