Bundesliga suffers from all the best talents being bought. Sadly for them, most go to Bayern which is counter productive. Generally though the young German talent at most clubs still make most team competitive and therefore better than the waste of a league that is Scotland.
The only thing wrong with the Scottish League is Celtic being there (used to be them and Rangers of course). I see their leagues as an example of grass-roots football - the opportunity for local lads to play competitive football at the highest level they can achieve, and there's nothing wrong with that, imo. Celtic, with their dosh and contingent of foreign players completely throws it off balance. It looks like this: please log in to view this image Although I wouldn't want them in the PL, it would probably be better for the rest of the Scottish teams if they were.
mate most of that is ****e. Only decent one there on a regular basis is dortmund and you can probably get away with leverkusen. The rest of them are at the level of an everton.
us as fans or you mean the club? With the club i think it's more to do with him not signing a new contract and every season (whether it's the media) he's hinted he wants away. Think i read somewhere his families in spain. Not sure how true that is. Personally, it's because when he first joined he was a good shot stopper but not brilliant (like de gea) but he was great at dominating his box. Since Mourinhos season he's just been very underwhelming and he doesn't dominate his box anymore. Maybe it's the expectation but there was a shakey period and i don't know if his heart is in it anymore but we actually wanted willy between the sticks for a bit and that guy is terrible lol edit: not sure if his form has dipped since he nicked De Bruynes girlfriend a few year back
I meant the fans, yeah - the club's policies are unfathomable to me. Has he sunk that low? I always thought he was pretty good - I obviously haven't watched you often enough. Like you say, maybe his heart isn't in it. Dressing-room camaraderie always seems a bit erm, fragile - shall we say, over at your place. If he's not dominating his box then we don't want him - we have Mig for that. #belgianthing
To be fair, he's not that bad. Just underwhelming i guess. More Mark Schwarzer than manuel neuer. I think there was a period in the season where we were leaking and he wasn't helping, not massive errors (except with his kicking) which Willy is actually good at. He just takes ages to get the ball out of his feet. I would think if his contract wasn't running down we'd probably be alright with him but he's not been great and he isn't renewing and we think he can't be bothered so its more of a case of you can go.
My Spanish colleague at work says that both Courtois and De Gea both have family back in Madrid. Both travel back and forth regularly apparently.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says he would "have to listen" if Real Madrid ask him to succeed Zinedine Zidane as boss at the Bernabeu. (Mirror) Liverpool transfer news: Barcelona president ‘accepts offer’ for Ousmane Dembele LIVERPOOL have edged closer to striking a deal for Ousmane Dembele, it has been claimed.
Keep seeing reports of players being linked to us but not many reports of clubs interested in buying players who longer fit at our club to put it kindly. I would say there are at least 6 players we need to shift so its a little worrying
