The 62 yo Argentian has been out of work since leaving French side Lille last December. His degrere includes Marsielle, Lazio and Athletic Bilbao. He has international Management experiemce with Argentina and Chile. Bielsa doesn’t speak a work of English. He required a translator with Lille & was difficult to understand at Bilbao. However, he does play an attacking and attractive style & is thought highly of by Guardiola & Pochettino. We will hear in the next 24 hours that Heckingbottom has left the club. Silly question 2 Rolls Royce players in Yeboah and Woody Bielsa is on another level and if you check out the video posted on yesterdays thread you hear Pep being asked about and his view of Bielsa who says he is the best coach in the world. High praise indeed from a guy who is thought to be in the top 3 best coaches. Apparently Pep and Pochetino both worked under him and thinks hes god, both copy is tactics and style of play. Too good to be true? If this is the news that would shock Leeds fans in 10-days time (Which is this weekend) I am shocked now just to being linked with Bielsa. Stunt for PR? no way too many pieces to this, too many countries, too many sources and too many media people now involved. Is it going to happen though?
Bielsa? Not speaka da English. How have other similar managerial appointments worked out elsewhere? Woody and Hass. Yeboah was great but Hass was a better all-rounder IMO.
Think the best way to show how a manger who cant speak English works is by saying Bobby Robson needed an interpreter at Barcelona, in fact that's how Jose Morinho got into football, working for Bobby. Silva couldnt speak English when he went into Watford. Bielsa has won multiple honors in various countries. Pochetino couldn't speak English when he arrived at Southampton
Hard to understand at Balboa ? but Argentineans speak Spanish,so hard to understand speaking his own language,could cause problems even with a translator.

Good morning Matt Decent CV & bags of experience with major clubs & at international level. Like BB I prefer a manager/coach to speak the English language although it didn't hinder Southampton/Spurs progress under Pochettino ! Not surprised & probably out of his depth although Hecky hasn't had a proper crack at his job with Leeds

Even though he was a fool & bit of a head case Woodgate was the best CB out of the two so Woody for me Yeboah without a shadow of doubt, played in an average Leeds side & won us many games single-handedly. Just behind Charles, Clarke, Jones for me, would be on the bench of my all-time greatest Leeds squad. Scored some beauties, he could blast or place them & scored with his head too. I was right behind the net at Old Trafford when he scored his debut goal off his knee.

Good morning all Leeds fans,Seems to good to be true and probably is, Bielsa for heavens sake that really would be a statement of intent.For his prefered style of attacking play would mean a total overhaul of the playing staff as we do not have much in the way of an attacking team,this would mean some Heavy spending, and this time on actual quality players,not sure Rad or his contacts would have deep enough pockets to fund this apointment just hope i'm wrong, and we can look forward to very exciting times ahead,now wouldn't that be something. Oh and Woody and Yeboah for me.
definitely a ten,as i think it was the Duke that said,i would have thaught we would be at the back of the queue behind quite a few premier clubs.
They all speak spanish,and some speak basque,some refuse to. Also we have quite a lot of spanish speakers at the club now Maybe I should mail the club and offer my services as a translator! Morning all,from sunny spain.
