Ha, ha. I hadn't realised he was a Spud, I wouldn't have bothered answering if I'd known that. What does he want, that I think Spurs are great and I want them to win everything?
So envious watching Liverpool perform like this. Dismantled City, one of the best teams in Europe, over two-legs and thoroughly deserved it. Well on their way to a Champions League semi-final. Man, how I wish we were capable of pulling something like this off... Roma 3-0 Barcelona Didn't see that coming, they've completely bottled it. Proof, if needed, for us that a 4-1 lead doesn't have us home and dry.
They’ve kind of come out of nowhere really. Credit to Klopp he looks to have assembled a good squad. It’s incredibly bittersweet to see Ox playing well; I liked the guy, and I guess it is true that a change of scenery can do you a world of good. Honestly seeing clubs like that just make me want change that much more, I cannot wait to have a new manager with new ideas take us in a (hopefully) more positive direction. Allegri has masterminded some incredible performances in the champions league this season. We really should be going all out to get him. Sigh, we won’t.
Spurs remind me so much of us ca. 2006-2013 Playing good football, getting CL, well run club. Winning f*** all. If I were them I would be scared it’s only a matter of time before a lot of their players will have their heads turned in the same way as us with RVP, cesc, Nasri, Adebayor, etc etc because at the end of the day, it’s about trophies and money (they don’t pay their players the best either obviously)
Just when you think you are having mare, Spursy in their golden era will top it for you! Don't like Mourinho, but glad he did a number on them. Dumping those bottlers has really made my weekend. Lost 8 semi-finals! When you take away the fluff, Spuds are not really as resurgent as we think!
Seria A got pretty exciting. With Napoli beating Juve thanks to Koulibalis last minute header there's only 1 point between the two team with two games to play. Koulibali would be such a great signing IMO. Chelsea seem to be the frontrunners at the moment though.
I love how Liverpool managed to sign Fabinho before sky sports even knew it was happening. Now all of a sudden 'the beat Arsenal' to his signature' - I smell bullshit.
Your summer project : How many players do the PL top 6 sign before there was any hack blurb about it being a possibility.
Soo Apparently Wenger and Pochettino are the favourites for the Madrid job. On some level would be nice to see Wenger win a Champions League before he retires but on the other hand would be funny watching Spurs navigate the post new Stadium years without a top manager.
Man City looking pretty scary. I think Jorginho is just about the perfect signing for them. He's a metronome - never stops running and tackling but has the technical ability to play their style of football.
Casually spending 100m+ without batting an eye. Really dont like what these teams have done to football...
Ah come on, how many players have Arsenal sold for record sums. It takes two as they say, and you can't criticise clubs for paying huge amounts if your club is all too willing to participate in the same system and sell for those huge sums.
