Naturally I agree that we definitely need additions to push on but to suggest first teamers are comfortable is harsh, our first XI in general has punched above their weight for a number of seasons now. They’ve usually played as if one bad game will cost them their place even if the competition for their spot has been non-existent (Kane, Eriksen & Jan being prime examples of that).
Been a lot of talk that Inter’s reps are over trying to sort a deal for Dembele. £25m-£30m being quoted.
Citeh are set to sign Mahrez and Jorginho......season ticket sales must be going well. Maybe they're gonna sell out some games next season?
Zidane set to throw an unexpected press conference. Some suggesting he’s announcing his departure due possible unrest in dressing room. Could mean that any slim chance of Bale leaving will become even slimmer. If a new manager comes in, it’s highly likely they’ll favour someone like Bale.
They’re hoovering up every top class player available. Essentially doing a Chelsea but to much higher levels.
It's been eighteen months, so naturally that means we're being linked with Florian Thauvin again. The same Florian Thauvin who flounced out of Lille to force a move to Marseilles, then later flounced out of Newcastle so he could return to Marseilles. Something tells me Poch won't be interested... Meanwhile, L'Equipe are reporting that Stuttgart have slapped a €50m price tag on Benjamin Pavard somehow making him a cheaper option than De Ligt

I've probably mentioned this before, but Los Ladrones have a remarkable ability to turn themselves into a personality cult. Back in the Galacticos era it was a nightmare for managers as Fat Ronaldo, Raul and Roberto Carlos would routinely go running Florentino Perez if they didn't get on with the manager (which is what led to Vicente del Bosque getting sacked for no logical reason) and led to them appointing a succession of coaches who had no authority whatsoever - and that only changed after Perez lost his presidency, and by complete coincidence when Fabio Capello was installed as manager he swiftly jettisoned Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos
Serveral rumours floating round that Poch has a release clause to join RM or PSG. Fingers crossed that’s bullshit.
Well, Bale made his opening gambit. CR7 then made his assumed counter-move. And 5 days later Zidane decides to step down unexpectedly. Methinks he didn't fancy a summer of fighting in the cult/politics cesspit now that the CL final has made Bales' star rise higher.
My initial thought is what's going to happen with Lewandowski. A month or so ago we were hearing about how a deal had been agreed in principle, but that's gone very quiet - almost as if a certain Portuguese egomaniac stamped his feet as that would see him moved back out to the wing...
Why? He signed a contract 13 days ago and stated he was very pleased. If he wanted to hedge his bets he'd have simply waited until after the CL final. An escape clause would be a stupid move by Levy as there was always a possibility that Real would be looking for a manager soon. He signed the new contract before the CL final and ZZ would have been gone if they had lost that.
Nothing but clickbait here. Pochettino would never do this anyway... ... and, in the unlikely event he does, he never won anything and always looked so scruffy...
