Really excited for this one, course we have a chance like everyone else. Be nice to see us make a Semi Final as ive not had the joy of seeing that. Whatever happens it would be good for everyone to get behind them and just cheer them on. With Harry Kane we have a match winner who can score out of nothing so you never know
I think we'll win it too. I'm oozing positivity. I'm loving the optimism of the Skip and his young guns. A dash of flare, a splash of creativity, a soupcon of wise experience. Three lions, 1966, Gazza crying, 5-1 even Heskey scored, Bloodhead Butcher, Pyscho's post-penalty fist pump, Lineker!!!, Beckham!!!, Keegan!!!, Rooney!!!, Carlton Cole!!!. My goose is all pimply. My spine is all tingly. My loins are all girded. I fully expect this level of frenzied anticipation to last until about five past seven on Monday 18th June.
I'm feeling optimistic myself. I did the prediction thing on Pokerstars though and it told me would get Poland second round and if we beat them then we get Germany. I suppose if we win both those games then we have a good chance!
It wouldn't be a World Cup without ****s from the media trying to tear apart the team before it even begins...
Apparently, we're looking at £500k in payments from FIFA, for players at the World Cup, even if they're all knocked out in the group stage. Even players who aren't with us any more, we get a fee for players who've been with us in the past two years, so Irvine, Grosicki, Larsson, Elmo and Maguire. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-world-cup-money-1619566
Fake Showbiz News @FakeShowbizNews So disrespectful - England ‘star’ Raheem Sterling is pictured laughing and joking just hours after it was announced Morag from ‘Home & Away’ had died.
Sky Sports News @SkySportsNews Last night we made a mistake in our reporting of Raheem Sterling's statement on his tattoo. We apologise for this error and any distress it has caused Raheem and his family. On Sterling's statement about his new tattoo, he said 'I made a promise to myself I would never touch a gun in my life time', but Sky changed it to 'I made a promise to myself I would never touch a gun again in my life time'. Pretty shabby.
It's a very strange story, not much on the interweb about how and why his father was "gunned down dead" Also why the tattoo of an M16 assault rifle? was this the type of gun he was shot with? Whatever, it's a ****ing stupid thing to do no matter what.
It is odd. Wouldn't you put your dad's name, or his date of birth / death sort of thing? I mean if he'd got knocked down by a lorry, you wouldn't have a tattoo on an Eddie Stobart on your leg, or across your back would you? Well you might I suppose, instead of having the girls names across the grill on front of the cab like they do, maybe you could just have 'Dad'. A strange one for me.
