    Read who Saints are interested in, make a tentative enquiry and then pretend you just missed out.

    Our Board are going to love it. The delay in him signing may have been them arguing over who said we’d just missed out, Hughes or Reed :)

    defenders dont get me excited so much but good if we get someone in as we always looked a bit vulnerable whenevr the opposition ran at us!!!!!!

    But we defo lack pace. There's no doubt about that. Lets spend some serious doller on a quick little bugger to terrorise the opposition and make the fans cheer

    'Robert Lewandowski’s agent has held several talks with Bayern Munich, according to Sky sources in Germany.

    The striker made it clear to directors Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge that Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern.

    There have been no concrete offers from other clubs, but Real, PSG, Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City have all shown interest in the player.

    According to his agent, Lewandowski is not after a better deal or more money – he wants a new challenge in a different country.

    If Lewandowski has to stay at Bayern, he will not go on strike, but it’s been made clear that his motivation to score goals will not be there.'

    What bigger challenge could he have than scoring goals at Southampton? No one else manages it. :D

    That’s it, I knew one of our recentish strikers was 29. Somehow Lewandowski’s been around so long he seems older than 29. Still a few years left in him yet!
