Thoughts on it and does anyone else think this could be the toughest league since Leeds and Southampton were down here.

Coventry got promoted today adding to that list.

Not necessarily. All we've found out from this season is the divide between the Championship and League One is growing. The three teams relegated in 2016/17 from the Championship all went back up this season. With Sunderland coming back down and with their financial clout along with that of Barnsley, Bradford, Portsmouth & Charlton it's proving more and more difficult get out of this league by going up I guess.

    Money, money, money.

When promoted to the championship (18 years ago) we spent over £2m on building that team (a lot of money at the time) the fair play rules all sound very good in theory but when teams get millions in parachute payments it is clear FPR is actually designed to ensure the FA maintain the status quo.

Just below mid-table with an FA cup run with a home tie against Man City in the 3rd would be a good season in my eyes, Not scally's fault he just does not have the financial clout. As I said before the football gods are saying something a league 1 team we are, maybe one day a return to the championship followed by a very quick relegation.

I suddenly realised that going into one about money ruining our modern game I didn't actually answer brb's question.

There are certainly a few big name clubs in the league this year, however, looking back at 1999 we had Man-City, Stoke, Fulham, Burnley,
Millwall, Reading, Preston, Bournmouth, so are this years teams any bigger?

Regan Charles-Cook was on loan at Woking last season. Tidy little player. Needs to work on his end product.

Yeah one of our lads has just put a thread up on it. I did wonder if you might know the lad, I remembered you saying you watch Woking. Looking forward to watching him play for us.
