    Bale’s came at him considerably faster, while Ronaldo’s was considerably higher. Both displayed incredibly honed technique, but it’s possible that either player doesn’t strike the ball the opposing player received in the same manner as the ball they actually received.

    Regardless, in terms of skill, they were both miles above Rooney’s “shin of god” miss hit.
