    If you have 3 at the back with 2 dms like we tend to have then you have a lot of cover! In that case it may be wise to prioritise a Lwb who can put in a good cross over being able to get back and cover.

    I like 3 at the back, and have always said it is not a particularly defensive formation - or needn't be - for the reasons you've given.

    I guess the question is whether 3 (or 5) at the back is the formation Hughes wants to play next season or just the formation he thought was the way to get the best out of the players he had available this season. He may want to make signings that allow him to do something different next year.

    I think if we sign a top quality VVD replacement, we won't see 3 CBs that much next season...

    I think we should sign that Panama CB he had Kane and Vardy in his pocket in fact if it hadn't of been for that deflected shot from Henderson they would have nicked a point.
