Not too shabby, I feel like I’d put Jones at CB and move Dier up into midfield for the big games though. That midfield of yours looks a bit fragile defensively. Loftus cheek especially does barely any tracking back.
not a lot of people know this, but nearly everyone thinks it's Hugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grubb but actually the Pughs' were twins
and Tunisia are giving the European Champions something to think about 2:1 at the moment Cedric on the bench
Pleased for him...had a torrid time at Saints. Perhaps too early for him. These things can happen to a keeper....because all errors are magnified. That's why I don't go overboard about Forster (some comments border on bullying now)....pleased that McCarthy has stepped in, but also hope that FF finds his feet again....either as a reliable number 2 here or elsewhere. No keeper means to let a goal in or look a total plank.
He only had a torrid time when he made that error against Blackpool in his first game for two years. He was excellent when he’d played in the championship circa 2007. Some fans battered him after that Blackpool game and he didn’t recover. The move to Notts County (I think) was good for him and he has blossomed since. He was always a good keeper.
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018...-yoshida-named-in-japan-final-world-cup-squad Hardly a surprise, but our lovely boy is in Japan's squad for WC.
So I assume everyone here will be supporting England, either willingly or due to a sense of obligation, but who will be your second and third teams (let's not go more than that because then it'll get silly if you end up supporting like 16 teams because of players in different squads or for other reasons). For me, I'll be supporting Iceland and Egypt. I've visited both countries and they're both amazing in their own ways, plus it's Iceland's first ever world cup and Egypt's first since 1990. I hope Salah is back in time...
