They are the same as my first pair of boots, hand me downs from our neighbour who son was a couple of years older than me. What I remember is the nails sticking through from the studs, bloody painful. Just before Xmas my parents had bought me a new pair of continentals, and I pestered my mother to let me wear them before Xmas, for a big game against Hessle High. She wouldn't give in said I had to wait until Xmas, so I trudged off with my old boots to play Saturday morning. Low and behold I scored the winner with my old boots, so you can imagine what my parents said when I got home.
