Noted. But as you say it was advice so involving Roy was not required. Besides if I really want to fire the bullet its always best to go to the organ grinder and give the Malteser something to do..
You really think it was about GDPR..? James Seed didn't answer, but my point wasn't that difficult to understand... I've never understood why people have to state that they're leaving a Forum..? It's no big deal if an account is closed or open is it..?
The point being he has in effect requested his data not be kept and the site needs to comply. He hadn’t answered because he has been run out of town. Some seem pleased.
He was never going to stay. He only came on the forum to answer Royston's character assassination. He's very busy on CL.
He just said he wanted his account closed, HE didn't say why. He answered later questions...Nobody run him out of town. Not addressing a question directly is nothing new on forums, but cutting my quote inappropriately doesn't help. I don't think it has anything to do with GDPR, so my cut question remains... It's no big deal if an account is closed or open is it..?
Getting back on topic ...interesting comments from Johnnie Jackson today. He says that he and Bowyer are carrying on as usual for the time being, including looking at players. Both LB and JJ have been told nothing about their futures. What a way to run a football club, part 167 Surely we are soon approaching the point where Andrew Muir needs to sh1t, or get off the pot ?
Surely that’s a personal choice. I know of more than one that wanted out of a fora but were so hooked by wind up merchants they kept coming back. In the end they asked for accounts closing and thus solving the problem.
No. Knowing my mere presence here annoys you so much is a great motivator... Have you ever considered reverse psychology?
I can only speak of my own experiences in the NW Quad - row upon row of empty seats. Nobody is fooled by the threat of “losing” their favourite seat. Surely ?
It's not a bad view from there. That's right, nobody's fooled by this nonsense...In the last 4 years you could easily find a good seat. Plenty of empty ones to choose from on matchdays.
Yep - not bad at all . £27 a pop last season for most games. Have sat there for 7-8 seasons ...there used to be a regular cluster of 25-30 fans up there including fathers and sons - gradually they have all stopped going. This will be dismissed by the Duchatelet Apologists who believe we can magically grow a new fan base, clamouring to pay £350 to watch Nicky Ajose ...
where i used to sit before i bought the boy a ST. thinking of moving back there, or west upper. had a thought today that this new deadline may be RD trying to scrape a few last quid before he goes.
Used to be one of them. Sadly my son has now lost interest...It's why I've banged on about young fans not having much to shout about...Since the Curbs era, which he and his age group never experienced it's been majorly grim. The Club has a lot of work to do to get fans back on board.
If I was in charge of marketing season tickets I would let the deadline pass and increase the price before a take-over is announced. The expected surge in new ST purchases would then bring in more revenue - something like £125,000 if the price rise was an average £25 and the surge in ST sales reached 5,000. That's only an estimate of course, but it's a fair extra wedge of cash just for getting the timing right, and presumably many fans won't mind paying it too much if it is perceived as going to the incoming owners rather than the departing one. A scenario like this may mean there will be no take-over announcement (or even news) for another week or so. According to Bexleyboy on ITTV there is some kind of press conference or meeting scheduled for June 8th, involving several of the group comprising the supposed new owners. That might be the time we learn something.
I like the NW because it's close enough to the upper north to get the passion, but not quite in it, so you're not in the middle of the incest song, or the Jimmy Savile song.
Bexleyboy knows jackshit...He's just collects popular bits of information found on forums, then passes other peoples information as his own. #wum
The NW Quad also gives you handy proximity to the player’s tunnel...should you ever feel the need to wander down there & pass on your views ...
