It seems like facts just get in the way of a good argument. These people, who despite being shown evidence to back what happened, would rather believe that there is a great big conspiracy in place to quiet the great crusader of truth and justice Tommy Robinson. The man has worked out how to make a living off of mindless bigots who think he is some sort of hero for spouting his racist b******t. He is probably delighted to have been sent to prison. Can spend the next 18 months thinking of ways to spend the money he will make from the next book deal about his ordeal. Well said WJ. Seems that Tommy wants to be a martyr - so let him!!! It will be interesting to see how much public opinion he gets? If it had been a white rapist gang, would he have caused the fuss? BUT, if it had been a white gang, would the judge have gagged the press???

Jurors in case's like that are kept in hotels and not allowed to watch things about the case on any media.what's the difference between the,was his name Johnson,the Sunderland winger,who was all over the press,much more than this case,should he now be relieced ? Is it only hush hush for muslims ?
And I've answered it again.Could only happen if the Jury were breaking the law,watching facebook instead of the trial. And if they were,it would be scrapped,whatever they were watching and they would be in contempt.

Reporting on the case could prejudice potential jurors for the future trials of named defendants. It’s for sound legal reasons rather than protecting any race or religion to uphold English laws and beliefs such as right to a fair trial, that people are tried on the case before them and that people are innocent until proved guilty. Nothing sinister just means more likely to get a prosecution. What’s sinister is someone turning up and risking a mistrial so they can claim some martyr fame
