He wasn't but as the judge said

When you were in the court building you were, of course, self-evidently in the court building. There are notices all over the court building making it clear that filming or the taking of photographs is an offence and may be a contempt of court. You were told very clearly by security staff at this court that you were to stop filming and that if you were to film then you would be potentially committing an offence and may be held in contempt of court.

Every roport I've read said he never did any filming and was arrested before doing anything,so he never POTENTIALLY committed the offence.

No question to answer it didn't happen,no proof it would or could have happened.Did Jimmy Savill get cleared of all offences because the press reported on it ? did Garry Glitter ? and many hundreds if not thousands, who all got reports or filmed by the press.

Because the judge references the videos being posted for the first case and here's a report complete with screen grab of his live facebook stream as to why he was arrested https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co...book-rant-outside-leeds-crown-court-1-9184513

As I understand it, the filming referred to was what resulted in his contempt conviction. Whilst being sentenced, he was told categorically by the Judge what he could & couldn't do (and not just the filming aspect). What he did fell outside those guidelines, hence the breach charge. You do not take on Judges. They do not lose.

Edit: Oops! You got it covered whilst I typed, DBC.

No, Jimmy Saville, being dead, wasn't charged with anything, hence no reporting conditions.

Wasn't Gary Glitter convicted abroad? How many Thais read the Sun?

You've lost me. Is this your attempt to say you were wrong to mention Savil & Glitter, or are you now trying to convince me that either Savil or Glitter played for Sunderland? Nothing would surprise me in this thread, given the invention I've read so far. :)

Evidence for that please because all I'm finding is

Tommy Robinson filmed himself during an hour-long rant outside the court building which he streamed on Facebook Live and was viewed a quarter of a million times. A judge who locked the right wing activist up for 13 months for contempt of court told him his actions may cause the sensitive case to be abandoned. The court heard it could cost taxpayers “hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pounds” if a re-trial has to be held. A strict order is currently in place temporarily banning publication or broadcasting details of the long-running case or anyone involved.

And please tell me you understand why there are reporting restrictions on this case, if you did maybe then you's understand why the little **** deserves jail time.
