Yea, he did. And his Karius assault. Nothing will happen to him though. Even if it does, they have won it now. That's all that matters.
Love this random quote: 'Ramos would turn off your life support machine to charge his mobile phone' Totally knew what he was doing, I hate Madrid!
Wow! The big sides are really stepping up! Liverpool have already nail down Keita and Fabinho. United sound like they have bought Fred and Dalot! If they go through. 4 more incredible players coming to England! At such a good young age, where they will only continue to improve. Man City haven't even started yet! Or Chelsea! Arsenal need a re-vamp, Spurs will buy too after the manager signed a new contract. Also, WBA and Stoke going down, Replaced by FFP Cheating Wolves who play amazing football (because they bought Champions league quality players), and Fulham who have played the best football this season. I'm really looking forward to next season. Brighton will replace the Stoke and WBA style, Huddersfield will still be open and attacking. Palace played good football. I think the Prem should be pretty exciting. Especially with how these big sides have already jumped into spending before the world cup. Incase these players star and the price goes up by double.
Worried about Paul Hurst going to Ipswich. I like him a lot, think he's got good potential. I think he's a better manager than Farke, and I am dreading Derby day. I just hope it doesn't work out for him, maybe it will be a bad fit. But he worked on a shoestring budget at Shrews, uses young players. Looks a good fit, and a smart appointment.
Commented on our site that it's probably the most sensible yet still exciting appointment we could make. He is known for building a terrific team spirit and work ethic (something we already have) and can mix it up when necessary but allows a bit more freedom for players to take a touch and knock it around when they can.. So something of an evolution rather than a full blown revolution. Also, getting the League 1 manager of the year looks a very positive move.. Plus as we've seen in recent seasons that success in L1 can be directly translated into success at Championship level (Chris Wilder, Neil Harris in the past year as well as Dean Smith, Lambert and Rowett) are proof of that in recent times. Still think we'll be mid table but hopefully we'll be the sort of mid table side Brentford were last season...
Confirmed - #wereintrouble Edit - If DF doesn't want Morris, he can sign him with the stipulation that he is NOT allowed to play against us!!!!
Bizarre decision all round in my opinion.. It's widely known that they will be scaling back this summer and offloading some high earners to reduce costs.. They've also got one of the oldest squads in the league so need freshening up all the while trying to cut down costs, which is a challenge for even the most battle hardened manager, let alone a rookie who is looking to cut his teeth and make a name for himself. Could be a masterstroke, but would be surprised if he's still there next summer.
Errea kits might be shipped late this summer, so maybe not for sale to NCFC fans as quickly as previous years: please log in to view this image
Pretty much what I thought on reading the story and it will be interesting to see how Lampard does. Edit - He was considered for the 1p5wich job apparently!!
Blimey! Zidane leaves Real Madrid! I did think, where does Zidane go from here, with his Champions League achievement. Would be incredible if they won it again next season, but they got very lucky this Season. There's a good chance the only way was down from here. He obviously thought the same. Still pretty stunning news. National Team job after the World Cup maybe?
He had two interviews* according to a lot of (reliable) sources and was seemingly 3rd favorite behind Hurst and Ross for most of the process and apparently impressed the owner greatly in both meetings. There were even rumours we offered him terms but he turned us down, but don't believe that myself as it was a fairly unconvincing source. *We apparently interviewed a number of candidates twice, which seems quite bizarre (luckily Sherwood and Stam failed their first and weren't invited back for stage 2)
£40m being quoted for Jack Grealish!!! What has he ever done! Not even in the same class as Madders and yet the papers quote this astronomical fee for him but JM is only worth £15-25m. He scored 3 Goals and got 8 assists this season! If Grealish is worth £40m the Madders must be worth £60m at least!
As far as I can tell, the only Championship player who may be worth more than JM is Sessegnon, and I believe he has been touted at £40m. Not sure how Grealish can even be considered at half that.
