Gracia been linked with a job in Spain: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...229090.REPORTS__Gracia_on_Sociedad_shortlist/ Might tempt him home if he isn't backed here ?
If they matched his wages and put him on a 4 year contract why not ask Watford if he could talk with them ? we could sack him after 12 games anyway ( i want him to stay as long as the club back him with a few new signings and replace the few that leave)
Well the season has been over for 10 days and he is still here.... Should we presume Gracia is staying put?
Looking like it.. And will be an interesting test to see if we can build on last season.. Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
And why isn't the decision, one way or the other, being announced? Do the Pozzos get a kick out of manipulating people or do they at this time have no plan to move forward? Hope we hear soon. But if Garcia walks I would fully understand.
Brian I appreciate that legally they do not, but I wouldn't treat employees on that basis. And then there are us fans. And if a decision has been taken what advantage could keeping it secret give? Call me supersticious
So every year you say what employees you would like to replace?. Im sure he knows if the club are keeping him plus how many of the 92 clubs that have not sacked there managers will make a statement that they are not sacking there current manager?
Brian I hope we have always considered our employees as human beings who have responsibilities and ambitions. When we have decided to let employees go we informed them at the earliest time and discussed the situation in order to get the best alround solution for all those involved. However, with the club there are not only employees but also supporters to consider. For me, as I asked above, the big question is: if he is staying, what benefit is there in keeping the fact secret? (Who knows maybe all the players, including those being targeted, know he is staying? But if not that must be a negative.). But I guess I have no choice but to wait and see.
i would have though that unless new contracts was being discussed then any club would have sack/released there manager by now ?
Fairly clear indication that he will be with us. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...p_Hornets_improve_in_pre-season/?ref=mr&lp=16
"For Cathcart, the Spaniard’s continued presence at Watford can only be viewed as a positive" And who could disagree with that. I know some will disagree but the Pozzos show a total disrespect for the fans. To them this is just business. Yes they have discovered an interesting formula, based on survival, and all credit to them for that. But a total lack of communication stinks. After 55 years no one can question my loyalty but this is rapidly turning into something other than the club I know and love Maybe I'm just getting old
Our club will make statements if and when they need to ( all current negotiations with new players or with Everton will be made pubic once they are concluded ).
You'd think so wouldn't you. You want your management team in place for the world cup I would guess and that's only two weeks away.
In these days of instant news and an overwhelming preponderance of gossip I think it's a good thing that our board play things close to their chests. We need to relearn our patience.
